at An Le Junior High School’s Assembly Hall. In the beginning,

Buddha’s Birthday, the BLIA Chunghua Headquarters held a
fifteen-day celebration throughout Taiwan. The Buddha’s
Birthday Concert was held at Fo Guang Shan monastery and
Taipei’s New Platform on May 14th and May 15th.
On May 15th,
Fo Guang Shan’s Da Ming Temple held a Bathing the Buddha
ceremony and a blessing ceremony for the candidates at the Main
Shrine. Approximately one hundred and fifty people including
students and their parents were in attendance.
On May 15th,
IBPS Bangkok held a Bathing the Buddha ceremony with a series of
activities including a dharma talk and an exchange on
meditation. More than three hundred people including sixty monks
from five major temples in Thailand such as Wofo Temple, Xidanan
Temple and Jinshan Temple were invited to attend the ceremony.

1st Taipei
International Vegetarian & Organic Festival 2005, organized
by Merit Times, will be convened on May 5th at the
Second Auditorium of Taiwan External Trade Development Council.
On May 3rd, Director of Merit Times, Venerable Yong
Yun led all the monastics of Merit Times to convene a Blessing
Ceremony there in the hope that the four-day festival will be
undergone successfully. |

Class, Basic Computer Class, Series of Offices Course and
