In honor of the Buddha’s Birthday, the BLIA Chunghua Headquarters held a fifteen-day celebration throughout Taiwan. The Buddha’s Birthday Concert was held at Fo Guang Shan monastery and Taipei’s New Platform on May 14^th and May 15^th.

On May 15^th, Fo Guang Shan’s Da Ming Temple held a Bathing the Buddha ceremony and a blessing ceremony for the candidates at the Main Shrine. Approximately one hundred and fifty people including students and their parents were in attendance.

On May 15^th, IBPS Bangkok held a Bathing the Buddha ceremony with a series of activities including a dharma talk and an exchange on meditation. More than three hundred people including sixty monks from five major temples in Thailand such as Wofo Temple, Xidanan Temple and Jinshan Temple were invited to attend the ceremony.

On May 15^th, Fo Guang Shan Guam held a Bathing the Buddha ceremony and more than three hundred people including representatives from many religions were in attendance.
