“Life and Ch’an”
What are you looking at?
-
What are you looking at?
Are you looking at the sea, or
Are you looking at the mountain, or
Are you looking at the road ahead, or
Are you looking at the multi-screens on multiple devices?,
Have you ever stopped, listened to the silence and wondered? Wondered if the world is too obsessed with material?
Wondered if you can stop living under peer pressure?
Have you struggled in the material world and wrestled with how best to fit in?
Have you imagined the mindful world and material world harmonizing as one?
“Life and Ch’an” is a global youth event in its 5th young citizens from culturally diverse background to pause on multi-tasking, and practice Ch’an (mindfulness) together.
Ch’an is more than sitting meditation. Ch’an is a living and breathing arts of life which is exercised and experienced in everything we do – walking, sitting, lying down, looking, not looking. Venerable Master Hsing Yun, founder of Fo Guang Shan said “True Ch’an meditation means that there is activity in tranquility and tranquility in activity, that activity and tranquility are one.” Some said mindfulness is cool and contemporary.
We simply know mindfulness is of the moment.
Why don’t you give multi-tasking a rest and give mindfulness a go?
