Trip to Toronto Fo Guang Shan
In order for young students to understand the culture of various religions, three local high schools in Ontario, Canada, recently made a field trip visiting Toronto Fo Guang Shan. Many students, once they saw the magnificent temple architecture, could not help praising. This rare extracurricular tour left them a deep impression.
Teachers and students made a field trip recently to visit Toronto Fo Guang Shan. Many students, once they entered the main shrine, were totally attracted by the solemn atmosphere. In order to understand the Buddhist tradition and be familiarised with the Temple, all students presented listened attentively with their ears raised.
At another site of the Temple, the lifelike Buddhist statues and carvings won the praises of many. Some of the students, once they saw the happy Maitreya Buddha in the Five Contemplation Hall, could not resist touching it, leaving a memorable experience for their field trip.
